With the Backefix colourful silicone muffin cups, you save disposable paper cups and thus a lot of waste.
Due to the smooth, non-stick inner surface, you don’t need to grease the cups unnecessarily before filling, because after cooling, your muffins can be easily removed from the flexible yet stable shape.
Like all our products, the muffin cups are made exclusively of platinum silicone, have no coating, are food-safe and free of BPA & PFAS (Bisphenol A).Tip: Fill only two-thirds of the pan to avoid overflowing and let the muffins cool for at least 15 minutes so that they can be perfectly removed from the tin.
Unfortunately, conventional silicone molds save on many work steps.
Tempering is especially important, as the molds are baked with it and really nothing can come off of it.
However, it is also the most expensive step in production and is unfortunately not taken seriously by low-cost suppliers for cost reasons.

We are in close contact with our manufacturers and also personally visit the factories to ensure that all work steps are 100% adhered to.
In addition, we regularly send samples to the laboratory where our material is tested.
